Planet Daily News: Trader Bonk Guy posted on Twitter threads, stating that despite community criticism of Pump.fun for exacerbating meme coin proliferation, he has been defending the platform both publicly and privately, believing it drives competition and innovation, which is beneficial to the crypto ecosystem in the long term. He mentioned that Pump.fun's decision to block the chief developer of LetsBONK.fun and Raydium contributors supporting the platform was surprising. He pointed out that while Pump.fun itself promoted competitive growth of meme coins, it chose to block the first competitive meme launch platform, calling it "an ironic move". Bonk Guy emphasized: "Truly excellent ideas and execution will ultimately prevail, regardless of whether there are ten or a billion meme coin projects in the market."
