It is reported that these five individuals had the highest time-weighted holdings in the top 220 over the past three weeks. Although a time-weighted holding of at least around $54,500 was required to participate in the event on May 22nd hosted by Trump, Christensen and his friends believed their actual expenditure was essentially just transaction fees, averaging $1,200 per person. Their strategy was to buy Trump coins and short exactly the same quantity, and then immediately sell their Trump coins and close their positions after the winners were announced on Monday. (WSJ)
