Tether, the issuer of the USDT stablecoin, has minted 16 billion USDT on the Tron network so far in 2025, according to Lookonchain on X. In total, Tether has issued 75.7 billion USDT on Tron, surpassing the amount issued on Ethereum. Crypto analyst Maartunn previously reported on May 12 that Tron-based USDT circulation surpassed that of Ethereum for the first time.
