TogglePi Network co-founder makes first public appearance at TOKEN2049 Singapore.
The latest information from the blockchain community shows that Ms. Chengdiao Fan - the second co-founder of Pi Network - will appear publicly for the first time at a major event after many years of "hiding". This is XEM an important milestone for the community of more than 50 million Pi users worldwide.
According to the official announcement, Ms. Chengdiao Fan will attend the TOKEN2049 blockchain conference taking place in Singapore from October 1-2. She will deliver a speech on the practical impact of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology on social life, analyze the challenges facing the Web3 ecosystem, and propose solutions for practical application.
Rare Appearance of Pi Network Co-Founder
Pi Network was founded in 2019 by three founders: Nicolas Kokkalis (head of technology), Chengdiao Fan (head of product), and Vincent McPhillip (community manager). However, McPhillip left the project in 2021 due to disagreements.
It is noteworthy that since the project was launched, the two remaining founders – especially Ms. Fan – have almost never appeared publicly in the media. In fact, her personal X (Twitter) account, although linked directly from the Pi Network website, has remained “silent” without any posts. This has caused the Pi community to only know her through internal documents of the project.
Therefore, the upcoming TOKEN2049 event is expected to be an important milestone, opening up an opportunity for Ms. Fan to directly Chia her vision for Pi Network and the future of Web3.
Community is hopeful, but cautious
Many experts believe that Ms. Fan's appearance at TOKEN2049 is a positive signal for Pi Network, which has been criticized for many years for being slow to implement practical steps, especially the issue of listing on major exchanges.
However, observers remain cautious. The reason is that Nicolas Kokkalis – co-founder and CTO of Pi Network – had previously appeared in the media to Chia his vision for blockchain, but the project did not have many significant changes after that.
