Kraken will airdrop PUMP tokens to compensate users who missed the subscription due to system problems

Odaily Planet Daily News: Kraken co-CEO Arjun Sethi stated that they will airdrop PUMP tokens from the Pump.fun public sale to some users whose orders failed due to system limitations. The PUMP token sale was completely sold out within 60 seconds, with demand far exceeding supply. Kraken will identify affected users through internal order records and user behavior data, and the airdrop will be conducted automatically without user intervention. Sethi noted that airdrop eligibility is based on verified order intent during the sales window, and tokens will be purchased by Kraken in the secondary market. Currently, Hyperliquid data shows that the PUMP price is approximately $0.0067, which is a premium over the public sale price of $0.004. Pump.fun's ICO raised approximately $450 million on the Solana chain, with remaining tokens to be sold through exchanges including Bybit, Kraken, Bitget, MEXC, KuCoin, and Gate. Multiple platforms experienced subscription issues, with Bybit also releasing an apology statement for users who were unable to obtain quotas despite ordering within seconds, and plans to provide further updates.
