Story Foundation has joined hands with World to strengthen human ownership verification in the process of registering intellectual property (IP) on the blockchain.
On the 10th, Story announced that it has established a strategic partnership with World and will join forces to strengthen creator rights protection and copyright verification.

Through this collaboration, Story will integrate the World ID identity verification layer into its existing IP Verification Service (IPVS). Individuals can verify that the wallet registering IP belongs to a real person and set licensing conditions for IP usage. Creators can actively manage ownership, including authentication and IP registration of their unique creations, differentiated from generative AI content. The two companies plan to complete technical integration by the end of this year and provide official services.
Story is a blockchain platform developed to realize monetization through IP. Creators can register IP on the Story blockchain to protect and monetize their works.
World operates World ID, a digital identity authentication platform that guarantees user anonymity while proving that the user is a unique human. Through World ID, users can prove that their activities are human, distinguishable from automated bots or generative AI.
Andrea Mutoni, Chairman of the Story Foundation, said, "By integrating World ID into the Story blockchain, we will strengthen trust and protection of creative works by verifying that the copyright holder is human from the IP registration stage, and lay the foundation for a virtuous cycle of IP ecosystem between human society and AI."
