Samson Mow, CEO of JAN3 who has been advocating for a super-bullish scenario for Bitcoin (BTC), revealed the most likely path for Bitcoin to reach $1 million (approximately 1.39 billion won). He explained that this rapid surge would occur explosively in a short period due to the realization of government-driven hyperbitcoinization.
According to Mow, Bitcoin's path to $1 million is likely to be a scenario of intense rapid increase within a few weeks to a few months at most, rather than a gradual rise. He stated, "The existing fiat currency system will collapse, and this process will happen instantly rather than slowly," adding that "fiat currencies will not fail gradually but will dramatically crumble, which will serve as a catalyst for Bitcoin's dramatic rise."
He also emphasized the need to note that several countries are officially starting or formalizing Bitcoin mining activities. He revealed that the Bhutan government has been mining Bitcoin since 2019, and its current holdings are valued at almost $1 trillion (approximately 1,390 trillion won). This demonstrates how national-level mining activities can make hyperbitcoinization a reality.
Mow particularly predicted that countries with surplus energy will convert this excess energy into Bitcoin mining and continue to use it as a means of national treasury procurement. He further forecast that "a global Bitcoin bond program where governments purchase Bitcoin by issuing national bonds will emerge soon." He assessed that Michael Saylor and his company MicroStrategy ($MSTR) have already proven this funding method to be a successful model.
This analysis suggests that not only cryptocurrency investors but also central banks and governments are increasingly likely to adopt Bitcoin as a strategic asset. Mow said, "Now it's just a matter of when countries around the world will pull the trigger."
