According to the currently compiled data, short positions account for a larger proportion of the liquidated positions, with major exchanges recording over 70% short position liquidations on average.

Binance had the most position liquidations in the past 4 hours, with a total of $5.46 million (43.91% of the total) liquidated. Among these, short positions accounted for $3.58 million, or 65.59%.
Bybit was the second-highest exchange for liquidations, with $4.77 million (38.37%) of positions liquidated, of which short positions were $3.33 million (69.87%).
Gate saw approximately $1.02 million (8.23%) in liquidations, with a short position ratio of 68.41%. OKX experienced $870,000 in liquidations, with the highest short position ratio among major exchanges at 76.57%.
Notably, on Hyperliquid, all liquidated positions were short (100%), while on BitMEX, all liquidated positions were long (100%).

By coin, Bitcoin (BTC) had the most liquidated positions. Approximately $27.84 million in Bitcoin positions were liquidated in 24 hours, with about $350,000 in liquidations in the past 4 hours. The current Bitcoin price is $107,223, up 0.11% in the past 24 hours.
Ethereum (ETH) saw approximately $8.21 million in positions liquidated in 24 hours, with about $350,000 in liquidations in the past 4 hours. Ethereum is currently trading at $2,430, down 0.10% in the past 24 hours.
Solana (SOL) had approximately $3.42 million liquidated in 24 hours, with about $410,000 in liquidations in the past 4 hours. Notably, Solana had $365,000 in short position liquidations compared to $46,000 in long position liquidations in the past 4 hours.
Interestingly, the 'FARTCO' Token rose 5.53% in 24 hours, resulting in approximately $2.76 million in liquidations. Additionally, AAVE showed a significant increase of 5.94%, recording about $490,000 in short position liquidations in the past 4 hours.
Among top market cap coins, WIF (Dogwifhat) had approximately $1.74 million in liquidations in 24 hours, while DOGE (Dogecoin) saw $520,000 in liquidations.
It is particularly noteworthy that tokens such as 'H', 'SAHARA', and 'PENGU' experienced large-scale liquidations of $6.57 million, $4.90 million, and $4.51 million, respectively.
In the cryptocurrency market, 'liquidation' refers to the forced closure of a leverage position when a trader fails to meet margin requirements.
