Bybit recently appointed Helen Liu as co-CEO, while CTO Rockman left his position
Top cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has recently made an important change in its senior leadership team by appointing Helen Liu – currently the Chief Operating Officer (COO) – to the role of co-CEO. This information was revealed in an internal letter and cited by Foresight News from Wu Blockchain.
Helen Liu joined Bybit in 2020 as the Human Resources Director. Later, she was promoted to COO due to her outstanding contributions in organizational restructuring and improving the company's operational performance. Before joining Bybit, Helen held several senior human resources management positions in large technology corporations, such as HR Director of the Global Supply Chain Department at Nokia and HR Director of the Asia-Pacific Regional Operations Center at Microsoft.
Alongside Helen Liu's promotion, Bybit also confirmed that the current Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Rockman has decided to leave the company. Bybit is actively seeking a successor for the CTO position, and this new personnel will directly report to Helen Liu in her role as co-CEO.
