At press time, the cryptocurrency is trading at $102,924 after giving up some gains.
According to data provided by Lookonchain, a major trader who made $15 million on the decentralized trading platform Hyperliquid went short on Bitcoin and a few other trading platforms.
CoinGlass data shows that more than $645 million worth of crypto has been liquidated over the past 24 hours.
Some traders believe that the cryptocurrency might potentially reach a new record peak this week.
