Analyst: BTC compound annual growth rate may stabilize at 8% in 15-20 years

Planet Daily News: Crypto analyst Willy Woo stated on X platform that Bitcoin has long passed the stage of several-fold increases seen in 2017. In 2020, Bitcoin began to institutionalize, with enterprises and sovereign nations starting to increase holdings, and the compound annual growth rate dropped from over 100% to 30-40%. As the network continues to store more capital, the annual compound growth rate shows a downward trend. Bitcoin is now being traded as the newest macro asset in 150 years, and it will continue to absorb global capital until it reaches a certain "equilibrium point". Considering long-term monetary expansion of about 5% and GDP growth of 3%, I believe Bitcoin's final compound annual growth rate will stabilize around 8%. Before reaching this "equilibrium point", it may take 15 to 20 years. Almost no other publicly investable asset can match Bitcoin's long-term performance.
