ZKsync: An administrator account controlling about $5 million worth of ZK tokens is suspected to have been stolen

ZKsync announced that its security team has confirmed a potential theft of an administrator account controlling approximately $5 million worth of ZK Tokens. The team is currently taking necessary security measures. All user funds remain safe and have never been at risk. The ZKsync protocol and ZK Token contract are secure, and ZK has not faced any risks. This is an isolated incident caused by key leakage, limited only to the ZK Token airdrop contract. The investigation is ongoing, and detailed updates will be published later. Previously, Zksync issued 110 million tokens on-chain and has continuously sold 66 million tokens. According to token unlock information, team and investor tokens remain locked.
