Joseph Schweitzer: Today is a special day, just as you heard this morning. One of the industry's largest transactions ever: Blockstream announced that Bitcoin will soon launch Bitcoin 2.0 to address security and quantum computer attacks. Bitcoin 2.0 will become the settlement layer for Rollup, while Ethereum will be the native L2 stack.
You mentioned earlier that you and Tim Beiko will migrate to Blockstream in the next four years. How do you view this development and the upcoming leadership of Adam Back?
Vitalik: The merger of Bitcoin and Ethereum is quite exciting. Because it's maintained by Craig Wright's original version of Satoshi. It's exciting that Ethereum will return to PoW while Bitcoin moves to PoS, making all transactions happen simultaneously. The crypto world should do more interesting things for the world, with more expansion and strategic actions. Just like Musk often launches and then explodes rockets, we should do some strategic things. Let the world see something interesting. We are excited to collaborate with Blockstream.
