Odaily reports that Mike McGlone, Senior Commodity Strategist at Bloomberg Intelligence, posted on <platform X> that after ETH broke below the $2,000 support level, it may continue to decline, with both ETH and the S&P 500 index showing a downward trend. Previously, the overall cryptocurrency market rallied in Q4 2024, but ETH did not perform as well.

He explained: "For ETH, $1,800 will be a strong level worth watching, however, the current selloff is not only seen in ETH, we also see an adjustment across the entire market as concerns over the impact of tariffs have hit all risk assets."
