This week (March 3 - March 9, 2024), don't miss these key Web3 events. Here's a preview of the highlights:
Monday (March 3): Sui (SUI) will unlock about 40.63 million tokens worth around $117 million at 8:00 AM on March 3.
Additionally, HashKey Chain will launch its Staking function on March 3.
Tuesday (March 4): The Zcash Foundation will host its annual conference Zcon from March 4 to March 7, focusing on Zcash and privacy protection technologies.
Wednesday (March 5): The Ethereum testnet Sepolia is expected to activate the Pectra upgrade on March 5. If the public testnet upgrade is successful, Pectra will be launched on the Ethereum mainnet on April 8.
Ethena (ENA) will unlock about 2.07 billion tokens worth around $835 million, accounting for 66.19% of the circulating supply, on March 5 at 3:00 PM.
Thursday (March 6): The pre-release version of the Web3 program "KillerWhales" Season 2 will be aired on X and HELLO TV on March 6, with the public release on April 7. HELLO Labs announced the launch of the "Killer Whales" program, a Web3-focused show, in Q4 2022, with the first season airing in 2023.
Friday (March 7): Mint Blockchain will open the MINT airdrop claim on March 7, rewarding real users, including: MintID NFT stakers, Mint Forest real users, Mint Expedition MP and NFT holders, Mint Big Bang champions, NFT Legends Season - Unboxed, and holders of Mint x OKX Pioneer Explorer NFT and winners of the Mint x GoPlus Christmas joint event.
The White House will host the first Crypto Summit on March 7. Previously, Trump instructed the Presidential Working Group to advance a crypto strategy reserve including XRP, SOL, and ADA, and later added BTC and ETH to the crypto strategy reserve.
Saturday (March 8): All customer accounts and custodial assets of the Japanese crypto exchange DMM Bitcoin will be transferred to the crypto exchange SBI VC Trade on March 8. Previously, DMM Bitcoin was attacked in May 2024, losing $304 million.
Berachain (BERA) will unlock about 10 million tokens worth around $85.5 million, accounting for 9.27% of the circulating supply, on March 8 at 9:00 PM.
Sunday (March 9): Movement (MOVE) will unlock about 50 million tokens worth around $22.99 million, accounting for 2.08% of the circulating supply, on March 9 at 8:00 PM.
