The judge did not explain the reason for the hearing, but on Friday, she heard arguments for a temporary restraining order sought by 13 Democratic state attorneys general, aimed at barring the DOGE team from accessing the information systems of several government agencies, including the Department of Labor, Department of Education, Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Energy, Department of Transportation, Department of Commerce, and the Office of Personnel Management.
