"DeepSeek's R1 is an impressive model, especially considering the performance they can deliver at that price point. We will obviously release better models, and having a new competitor is certainly exciting! We will accelerate some of our release timelines. But most importantly, we are excited to continue executing on our research roadmap and believe that now more than ever, we need more compute resources to realize our mission.
The world will need a lot of AI, and will be very excited about the arrival of the next generation of models. Looking forward to bringing AGI and more to everyone."
